CLaRO is hosting a 1-day conference on March 21st, 2020, titled: BRIDGING THE GAP: Latinx Community & Health Equity Research Conference.
The conference will be held on the main campus of Florida International University (FIU).

The conference will highlight University of Miami (UM) and FIU research efforts to address substance abuse, violence, and HIV/AIDS (SAVA) health disparities in South Florida’s Latinx communities. The agenda will incorporate research presentations, individual testimonials, and guidance from community leaders/advocates. Topics and themes will include Latinx SAVA research in the current political climate, the impact of our research on people’s lives, and innovative practices and lessons learned.
