Community Information Dissemination Videos

CLaRO’s Community Engagement / Dissemination Core reports findings from a community needs assessment conducted in South Florida.

The educational videos below present findings from a Latino community needs assessment that includes Latino farm worker, inner-city, and LGBTQ+ communities within Miami-Dade County, Florida. This series also presents findings and public health implications of our clinical intervention study with adult Latino men (i.e., HoMBRES de Familia).

Within each short video, a link is included to a longer version with more information.

This research is sponsored by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) under award # U54MD002266: the Center for Latino Health Research Opportunities (CLaRO). Community Based Participatory Research:

Our research is often conducted with the support of, and in collaboration with, our Latino communities. We collaborate with community members, leaders, key stakeholders, informants, and agencies to study the most pressing health issues found in our underserved Latino communities.

We will continue to share research findings with our Latino communities and individuals that make our research possible.
